I think that was 32 keys. The only good drop was the voltaic, which paid just about as much as selling the keys would have... so I suppose I'm happy.

0 keys, 0 drops. I sell every z-key I can get. I don't care for golds (I already have greens and a maxed HoM) and sweets are much cheaper after an event. The title is not practically maxable and the everlastings have a too low drop rate to even try.

But it's a good money maker. No complaining here. :-)

Meh most ppl dont do it for title or drops, they do it for the fun in gambling, example i havent got anything good from it, still i continue doing it because its fun :P same as ppl do lottary in real life, most ppl will never get any big prizes but they do it for the fun on it.

Bollocks. You enter the lottery because you're tempting the idea in your head that you might win. Why would you waste money on that just for fun?

You pretty much answered the question yourself. Some people open the chest because they are tempting the idea in their heads that they might get good drops and also.. there are some people who enjoy openning it , they might think that its weird that you dont enjoy it as you think thats its weird they actually enjoy it.

You do it for the fun of gambling.
With the Z-Chest, and even worse lotteries, in the long run, you'll spend more than you make. While participating you are, or at least should be, completely aware of that fact. You still hope you hit the jackpot and participate for the gamble. And the gamble is the fun.

Here's how I see it:

I have pretty much rare item I am interested in. I have a silly amount of excess money.. and I get plenty of Z keys from PvP.

If I sell my Z Keys I'll get even more money, but I've got everything I want, and if something new comes along I'll always be able to buy it without a second thought. The only thing I can waste my money on is Z keys, so that's what I do.. and I don't need to bother selling the ones I get from faction and RPs.

Obviously if someone is in the situation where they need easy money, you're better off selling the keys than gambling and hoping for a good drop.

Btw, 25 keys used.. Req 9 Fire Cele Compass was the only good drop.

old picture of when the zaishen title first came out. anyways, here is a screen of my gf pulling an everlasting phantasmal. she got a respectable amount of golds compared to creme brulee/fire water.

Wiki is not a holy scripture, ppl should realize it, really. It can be edited by anyone, its not official at all.

BOTH wikis are PLAYER edited. Neither has information added to it dirrectly by a.net. Even though it is unofficial, its just as valid as the official one.
